You Don’t Have to Do This Alone —Let Me Be Your Postpartum Village
I help new parents feel confident, supported, and well-rested during
the postpartum period by providing hands-on care, expert guidance,
and compassionate reassurance—
so you can focus on bonding with your baby while I help take care of the rest.
I support families in the greater Merrimack Valley Area, pricing includes a 35 mile round trip radius of Lowell, MA

Picture THIS!
-
You could actually rest and recover because
someone was there to care for your baby while
you nap or shower? -
Breastfeeding or bottle-feeding felt easier because you had expert guidance and support every step of the way?
-
You didn’t have to worry about the never-ending cycle
of laundry, dishes, and tidying up because someone
else was handling it? -
Your nights felt a little less exhausting because you
had an extra set of hands to soothe and feed your
baby while you got some much-needed sleep? -
You felt truly heard, validated, and reassured during
this emotional and physical transition into parenthood? -
You had someone by your side who not only
supported you but also helped your partner and
family adjust to this new chapter? -
Instead of feeling overwhelmed and unsure, you felt confident, prepared, and deeply cared for?
I GET IT!
Preparing for a baby can feel overwhelming, with so much to learn, endless products to choose from, and Google only adding to the confusion. You want to feel ready for postpartum, but between sleep, feeding, and recovery, it’s hard to know where to start. Then the early weeks hit, and exhaustion sets in, making it feel impossible to do it all on your own. Some days, you just need someone to tell you you’re doing great and help you figure out what actually works for your family. You weren’t meant to do this alone—let me be part of your village.

Who Am I?

Madison Fugere is the owner and founder of Serene Moments LLC, where she supports families as a DONA-certified postpartum doula and a Center for Pediatric Sleep Management-certified sleep consultant. With a background in Child & Family Studies and extensive hands-on experience as a nanny, infant teacher, and daycare manager of 240 children a day, Madison brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her work.

Madison’s passion for supporting families began at a young age, starting as a mother’s helper and evolving into a network of babysitters she managed in high school. Her dedication led her to earn a degree in Child & Family Studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Framingham State University, where she graduated with her bachelors in just two and a half years.

After working in daycare management, Madison discovered her true calling as a postpartum doula, combining her love for newborn care, family support, and business management. She completed her postpartum doula training through DONA International and has gained even more skills to provide hands-on support during the critical postpartum period.

Recognizing a need for deeper sleep support among her clients, Madison expanded her expertise by becoming a certified pediatric sleep consultant. She offers sleep training methods that range from super gentle and in-room approaches to tailored in-and-out-of-room techniques. Madison’s sleep plans are customized to each family’s needs, child’s personality, and parenting style, which empowers parents to achieve their sleep goals with confidence.

Madison is also the host of the podcast “The Postpartum Plan,” where she shares insights on everything postpartum, from newborn care to mental health, and features experts in the field. Whether through daytime and overnight doula shifts, virtual sleep consulting, or engaging podcast episodes, Madison is committed to making the postpartum period a more supported, joyful experience for every family she works with.

At what age can I start sleep training my baby? While I can help you establish healthy sleep habits from birth (known as sleep shaping), formal sleep training can begin at 3 months of age when their baby is developmentally ready for longer stretches of sleep. However, I also work with older babies and toddlers up to 3 years old!
-
What if I don’t want to let my baby cry it out? That’s absolutely okay! I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll choose a method that feels comfortable for your family, whether that’s a gentle, in-room technique or another tailored strategy that minimizes crying while supporting your child’s independent sleep.
-
How long does it take to see results?Every family and child is different, but most families notice significant improvements within 1-2 weeks of implementing their personalized sleep plan. Consistency and confidence are key to success!
-
Can you help with early wake-ups or frequent night wakings?Absolutely! These are common concerns I address. By understanding your child’s sleep patterns, we can work together to adjust schedules and implement strategies that encourage more restful sleep for everyone.
-
Do you offer virtual support?Yes! All of my sleep support is done virtually, so no matter where you’re located, we can create a plan that works for your family’s needs.
-
How do I know which sleep training method is right for my child?During our consultation, I’ll get to know your child’s temperament, your parenting style, and your sleep goals. Using this information, I’ll recommend a method that fits your family’s needs and feels right for you.
-
Do you help with naps as well as nighttime sleep?Yes! Naps are a crucial part of healthy sleep, and I’ll help you create a plan that supports both daytime and nighttime rest for your child.
-
What if sleep training doesn’t work for my child? With the right approach and consistency, sleep training works for most families. If challenges arise, I’ll work with you to troubleshoot and adjust the plan until we find what works best for your child.
